Because every one of us has a story to tell.

I was rescued from a feral colony back when the Heaven on Earth sanctuary was in some place called Newbury Park. The caretaker of the colony noticed me because I walked a little different from the other cats.

You see, my two back legs stopped growing when I was a kitten, so I taught myself to walk on my front legs. Some folks think it looks like I'm flying through the air. And that's how I got my name--Superman!

Well, I lived at the Heaven on Earth sanctuary for awhile, sharing my story with everyone who visited and making friends with the others while we waited for our forever homes.

Living at the sanctuary isn't bad, you know. We get food, we have air conditioning and heat, we get food, we have scratching posts, we get food, we have medical care, we get food and we have caretakers and volunteers who give us lots of attention, treats, love... and food.

Anyway, my forever home came along in 2005. Today I live with five new buddies and a dog (who I could do without, honestly.) But I never forgot my sanctuary friends. And as the years went by, I began to understand that some of them probably weren't going to find a home like I did.

So I started thinking about ways to get their stories out into the big world. And sponsorship is a great way.

For my friends who still live at the sanctuary, sponsorship helps them have good lives in the place that has become their home. And when you become a sponsor, you can share our stories with all your friends.
