Tabling/Public Relations Events Coordinator
Description: Organize tabling events to provide public exposure for Heaven on Earth Society for Animals; staff and/or work with VP, Volunteer Management and Volunteer Coordinator to staff events; work with VP, Public Relations and other Board of Director members to ensure consistency with organizational philosophy and to obtain official materials to hand out
Requirements: Good organizational and communication skills; ability to interact politely with the public and represent the organization in a professional manner.
Time Commitment: flexible hours, various locations

Fundraising Events Coordinator
Description: Organize fundraising events (small or large scale) to benefit Heaven on Earth Society for Animals; staff and/or work with VP, Volunteer Management and Volunteer Coordinator to staff events; work with VP, Public Relations and other Board of Director members to ensure consistency with organizational philosophy; reports to VP, Development.
Requirements: Good organizational and communication skills; ability to interact politely with the public and represent the organization in a professional manner.  Fundraising experience preferred
Time Commitment: flexible hours, various locations

Spay/Neuter Transport Program Volunteers
Heaven on Earth is launching a spay/neuter transport program and we’re recruiting volunteers for driving and administrative help. Transportation will be available for “owned” cats, rescue cats and ferals. There will be a pre-designated drop-off and pick-up location (within San Fernando Valley) and pre-registration. Cats will be transported to and from FixNation (and Clinico, when they open).

Any time you can provide for one or more of these tasks would be wonderful! We would love to have you join our group of dedicated volunteers.

Minors (Volunteers under age 18)
Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome to volunteer with us for certain tasks. Minors must follow the application process but also have a parent/guardian attend an orientation with them and complete a Minor Permission Form.   This parental consent is required.  Please note that we are mainly seeking minor volunteers to collect donations, lead fundraising efforts and conduct tabling events.  

Volunteer Orientation Process
All new volunteers must attend an orientation before beginning their duties. Volunteer Orientation is held on a monthly basis. Please email the Volunteer Coordinator for a Volunteer Application and information on the next orientation.
