Spaying and neutering companion animals is key to reducing pet overpopulation. And now California residents have a great new way to help.
The California Spay & Neuter license plate, sponsored by the California Veterinary Medical Board, is now in its pre-order stage. Proceeds from the plate will provide funding for free or low-cost spay & neuter surgeries across California and also help to raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering.
HOWEVER, the program won't officially begin until the Department of Motor Vehicles has received 7,500 pre-orders. So the clock is ticking...
